wimbledon tickets why are wimbledon tickets so cheap?

wimbledon tickets: since have been wimbledon tickets so cheap?
I was usually wondering since large sporting events similar to wimbledon have such poor tickets. (By poor we meant direct is larger than supply). They could simply assign some-more as well as they would all still get sole out. Why dont they?
